Jim, What grappling style is taught on the curriculum DVD's?

The teaching style is eclectic and non-dogmatic. This means it is compatible to all styles of grappling regardless of your personal style, i.e. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Russian Sambo, Folkstyle Wrestling, Judo or any Hybrid Submission Wrestling style you may practice.

However, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Most of the stand-up curriculum techniques in my curriculum stem from Folksytle Wrestling and Judo. These 2 grappling arts are without a doubt the 2 best arts when it comes to takedowns and throws.

Almost all of the groundwork is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu based with a hint of wrestling techniques as well. Of course the leg-attacks that are included in our curriculum are Sambo based.

But more important than learning our 'grappling style' is learning 'how' we approach what we teach and 'how' we package the techniques to design a professional curriculum that you can take and teach to anyone who is 10 years old or older.
